Pixel Artist for Space-Themed Indie Game @ Syntactic Sugar Studio

Syntactic Sugar Studio is looking for talented pixel artists as we approach our next major project. We'd like to get some fresh blood from DA, in addition to our concept/sketch artist and our UI designer/artist.

It is unclear at this point the exact amount of work that will be involved, as the game is still in design process. We'll work with you to come up with fair compensation terms before any art is done, although we will request a sample based on your own creativity to gauge how well you fit what we are looking for.

We'll be wanting non-animated spaceship designs, weapons with animated firing cycles, few animated organic spaceship designs, fx (such as engine trails, explosions, projectiles), numerous non-animated buildings, and a number of non-animated doodads such as asteroids. This is quite a large list, and we expect the project artwork to take around 3 months of off and on work to complete, although that is subject to change based on project scope change and your velocity in completing work.
